NEW ALBUM Happy Turns To Blue OUT NOW!
HAPPY TURNS TO BLUE is the culmination of my efforts as a writer and a player. It is the first time I am truly satisfied with the sound of the record. The drums hit just the right balance between natural sounding and being well produced. Finally the musicians that contributed were helping me to make some good songs sound great. Yeah!

NEW ALBUM Happy Turns To Blue ready for release worldwide!
Great to have you here. Look around and most importantly: Listen.
My solo work explores all facetes of rock music. Think Jeff Beck or Joe Satriani (without comparing myself):
I try to be adventurous, nurture musical collaborations ... and always try to include a great singer.
High Road Easy is my main band. It was founded with singer Jan Knopf, one of the best classic rock singers in Germany. Drums are provided by Swedish drum wizard Magnus Brandell. Dream team!
Herzbruchstelle is a rocking theatrical project of mastermind Andrej Meinzer. The music is 80’s inspired hard rock. The ‘gigs’ are a mixture of the reading of the story, live performance of the songs, films, a magician and more.

What the press says - 1987 - 2015
As part of the promo for the new High Road Easy album ‘III’, Sven also got praises for his solo efforts in Germanys #1 nationwide guitar magazine - cool!
- Gitarre & Bass Magazine (June 2015)
“Drive” is a garden filled with AOR songs and AOR songs (yep, that’s in the power of two!), featuring totally melodic choruses and tons of “compositional” hard work. I think I just found out the first “single” of the album. “Emily” is the one, with that Marillion-like chorus; it hits us right on the spot and then enters “Fly From Here”. Yeah, Jan’s voice is smashing and really interesting. ”

This is the only review I found for my first cassette tape - ‘Into The Atmosphere’, released 1987. Thomas Kupfer of Rock Hard Magazine was kind enough to feature me.
